LAUREN’S NON-NEGOTIABLES:

PLAY. I have fun every single day. I try to view the world with child-like wonder and lightheartedness and optimism - especially given the gravity of my daily work. I believe that life is sacred and juicy and part of showing gratitude is by enjoying it. I'm like a modern day Mary Poppins - "in every job that must be done there is an element of fun, you find the fun and *SNAP* the job becomes a game!" I believe that how you spend your days is how you spend your life, so I carve out time to cherish the day with laughter and joy... even if it just means dancing to Lizzo in my kitchen.

Also sleep. I am hard-core about getting deep, lucious sleep for at least 8 hours a night. Non-negotiable. If I'm going to show up with energy and exuberance every day, I absolutely have to let my body recharge.
