EP45: "Deep Soul Healing" Angela Shore

About Angela:

"I have thrived under the tutelage of a master healer, a seasoned medicine woman who is my confidant and soul sister today. After many healings and teachings, I received my certification at the Kerala Ayurveda Academy, and studied at School of Ayurveda and Panchakarma in Kerala, India.

My unquenchable desire to help others find peace, relief, and answers is a continuous passion. I have a natural philosophy of holistic wellness and ecological focus that plays into every aspect of the brand; from the organic, pure ingredients to the humane ethics employed every step of the way. I’m wild about anthropology, photography, art, design, music, hospitality, wellness, ecology, exotic foods, spices, and everything that smells beautiful.

I’m a traveler to my very core and find immense fulfillment in documenting, and sharing my journeys. The most transformative travel experience I’ve encountered was attending the largest Spiritual Human Gathering called Kumbh Mela in India. I’m a bit of a rock & roll yogi and sometimes rock shaman, so you may find me at a Patti Smith show, and I never leave home without wearing a turquoise cuff or two.

My style and approach to Clean Beauty is a constant innovative creative process. Above all, I believe in living and practicing a balanced life, and loving Mother Earth."

A favorite non-negotiable self care ritual or routine OR a favorite recipe or tonic.

W A T E R and Y O G A

My day always starts with a half squeezed lemon in a 8oz size glass of purified room temp water.

I recently discovered a new tonic love in Sedona AZ at Chocolatree Vegan Restaurant called Epic Protein - (Coffee Mushroom), it’s organic plant protein with Reshi, Chaga, Maitake, Lion’s Mane, Turkey tail etc…vegan, plant, non gmo, gluten free…and it is delicious! I add to my hot water in my canteen to carry…perfect for the Winter climate with fueling extra energy!

I eat steam or sautéed greens everyday. Spinach and little treelike veggies are my favorite. Rainbow foods makes me complete. I balance between an Ayurvedic diet or knowing where my food comes from. I love food, I am 95% vegetarian, sometimes a vegan :) I do honor our animals to heart. I can eat a platter of sushi easily…with love.

I can not live without my ---YOGA. I’m at it 4-5 times a week, my go-to for calming, OM +++ body strength, and sometimes my tears for a good release as I am healing a broken heart with losing my Aunt Idell. Grieving is real.

Most of all, nature & sunlight is my HIGH. I love to go on adventures and hikes when time allows. I burn a lot of calories by walking naturally.

I’m pretty simple in my skincare routine, between cleansing with Dr. Bronners tea tree for face & body + Youth To the People’s kale, green tea, spinach vitamins…superfood cleanser for face, packed with antioxidants ….sulfate—phthalate free…

To follow, I always OIL face and BODY…start my day with Jiva’s ATMAN (SPIRIT) BODY or THUNDERBIRD BODY...and in the evening 1967 BODY is my very own date night oil

My extra face favs on hand in the cabinet *Touch Balancing Face Oil by PAOLA, Josh Rosebrook and Poppy and Someday’s face creams.

Alexis Smart tinctures and Soul Addict CBD OIL by mouth….I’m hooked on Remedium Fields HEMP salve for my knees and lower back…extra after oiling
