Easy tips to drink more water: Feel good day 5
Believe it or not, one of the most difficult habits to stay consistent with for many of my students is drinking water. Even though we’ve heard a million times to “drink 1-3 liters a day”, it just doesn’t stick.
So here are a few handy tricks to sneak water in throughout your day, so that you meet your needs and stay hydrated and glowy from within:
– Start your day with a 12oz glass of water with lemon, this can be room temperature. It will help activate your digestion and encourage elimination.
– Have a room temperature glass of water before each meal.
– Set a gentle timer on your phone to ping hourly, and have one glass with each.
– Include hydrating fruits and vegetable like berries, watermelon, lettuces and celery with your meals, this is “nutrient loaded” water.
– Sip plain herbal tea like chamomile or mint throughout the day.
