Best veggies for fatloss: Feel good day 7
I know, I know, we’ve all heard it before: “Eat more veggies!”. But did you know HOW you eat them makes a big difference?
There’s nothing wrong with salad, but if you tend to feel bloated or gassy a big serving of that raw fiber may not be the best option. Cooked vegetables are easier to digest since the fiber has been broken down in the process, also making micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) more accessible and easier for our body to absorb.
Today’s task: Make sure to add cooked veggies to your Ideal Plate. One of your fistfuls can be a cooked leafy green like chard or spinach, and the other something more dense like squash, zucchini or parsnips.
